By accessing the website at www.coastplumb.com or by hiring Coast Plumbing Solutions (“the Company,” “we,” “us”) for plumbing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are hiring us on behalf of a business or commercial property, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2. Plumbing Service & Repairs
Estimates & Pricing: All estimates are valid for 30 days. Final pricing may vary if unforeseen conditions (such as hidden pipe corrosion, mold, or non-code-compliant existing structures) are discovered during the work. We will always submit a Change Order for approval before incurring additional costs.
Access & Safety: The Customer must provide clear access to the work area and ensure a safe environment for our technicians.
Pre-Existing Conditions: Coast Plumbing Solutions is not liable for the failure of aged or deteriorated plumbing infrastructure (pipes, valves, or fixtures) that breaks during the course of a standard repair due to pre-existing fragility.
3. Warranties & Liability
Workmanship Warranty: We provide a 1-year labor warranty for most residential repairs, unless otherwise specified on your invoice.
Material Warranties: Manufacturers provide warranties for parts (e.g., Rinnai or Bradford White water heaters). We will assist you with the paperwork, but the manufacturer is responsible for part failures.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by California law, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service provided. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of business revenue or water damage from pre-existing pipe failures.
4. Payments & Cancellation
Down Payments: Per California law, down payments for home improvement projects cannot exceed 10% of the total price or $1,000, whichever is less.
Right to Cancel: Residential customers have a legal right to cancel a contract within three (3) business days (or five days for seniors 65+) of signing, provided the work has not commenced.
Financing: Provided through third parties (e.g., Synchrony). All financing terms, interest rates, and payments are governed by the agreement between the Customer and the lender.
